After completing the hazardous Cheep Cheep Falls, we move onto Shifting Sands, which has some really crazy course elements such as cacti and waste areas that really mess up your positioning. @bowserdog98 You have to clear all of them with each character alone, unlike the original for N64, the stats are saved under each character. It's kind of complicated, but when you get used to the feeling, you would understand why they did that. You could do the ones not requiring star character until you need star, but when you use a different character trying to do that character's stars, you got to start from the beginning. To unlock Shadow Mario, a SINGLE character has to have all of them

Hey, uh, if you have shadow mario, but you need to BEAT RING ATTACK... How do you NOT have all stars? Or did I misshear you?
