They never made a Season 3 because they didn't want to cross into the timeline of I Claudius. Anyone who's wondering what happened next should watch that; just as brilliant in a different way.

Is this show cancelled or did they just finish it? There's not many things worse than beign told half of an awesome story and not beign told the rest of it, so they'd better not have cancelled it.
