You know what would be nice, if this could be turned into a general purpose input device. Wave your hand to the left to go back in your browser, up down to scroll. Replace that darned mouse alltogether!

So can it also just be used with like AIM? Does it work well? I'm shopping for a good webcam that works well with macbooks (I have a PC, looking to converse with people with macs).

That's a tougher order since iChat doesn't share video with AIM. It does work well with AIM on the PC side, but it'll be harder getting PC to MAC video chatting working in general.
