from Werner Herzog's 1977 film Stroszek, a scene with Bruno S playing the glockenspiel and accordion. For film geeks and observers of the human mind. According to urban legend, Ian Curtis of Joy Division did his final act (hung himself) after watching this movie. What can you read into that? who knows...but sometimes if the only tool you possess is a hammer...then eventually all you will see in life are nails (bad english translation of german proverb...hope you get my drift).

  • What a great film this was! I was just getting ready to watch The Enigma of Kasper Hauser and had to plug this DVD in to watch this scene. Thought I'd check here to see if anyone else thought highly enough of it to add it to YouTube. Bruno was an absolute natural for this cinematic masterpiece!

Thanks for adding this and thanks to Werner for bringing so much to cinema. Especially with his brilliant casting and direction of Stroszek.

  • just read an article in the NY Times about Bruno

he's still playing music in a bar near his home in Berlin, apparently
