O K here is the 1st part again: Why did I sell my 82 westy, I wonder every time I see your videos, and I enjoy a lot. After having it for over 10 years, and traveled mostly in Mexico and almost make it to Guatemala; I sold it for $1,700.00 in 2000, 4 years ago I bought it back from the same person I had sold it to and this time I payed $300.00, the problem is that it was not working, and they had crashed it all arround I asume that somebody learned to drive in it.

I'm in the situation of working on it again to make it back to the road, but my mechanic could not make it work with the original Electronic Fuel Injection, so I had to get a manifold and carburator for it. As soon as he makes it run, I'll take it to the body shop and latter on refurbish al the interiors. I'll post pictures of all the history. (I do not know why my first coment didn't appeared, this is the second part, Mine is a 1982.

It was time for me to travel in an other way!! I sold it.. bought a good backpack and I'm now in south america backpacking! .. don't worry, I'm planning to buy another one when I'll be back in Canada !! I already know the modifications i'm going to do and all that stuff !! I'd not be able to live without a VW!!
