A 50-keyless Fairground Organ (rebuilt by myself) playing from perforated cardboard music. This particular music book entitled 'Nellie the Elephant' was arranged by the late Steve Clarke, produced by the late Peter Watts. It was actually the subject of a topic raised on the independent Mechanical Organ Discussions forum (iMOD)... see www.fairgroundorgan.com/forum for more details of this internet communications group for mechanical organ lovers.

  • sounds like a 3 rank mixture is playing it

  • chiapa organ

  • @fairorgan do u make conductors for fair organs?

  • That is just.. sweet.. :P

  • This is a very good sounding arrangement. :)

  • I can remember hearing this on Bressingham's Carousel on the 48k Bruder-Chiappa.

  • do you mean recordings of entire tunes which you can sample, or just sound samples of, for example, a rank of pipes to use to create a "virtual organ"???

  • this organ has a nice jolly sound to it and I like the female figure in the centre of the organ along with the carved work etc

  • yes but has the facade been made yet?

    its taking ages
