You are way wrong. If you go to the factory in Miami you are bound to see him in the back of the room rolling the sizes that only a master roller can do. During his long career in Cuba, he received countless distinctions and awards for his work, including the Productivity Prize for rolling 320 Julietas (7 x 48) in four hours. I've seen him roll a cigar from start to finish and believe me he makes it look easy. Do some research on him and you will be greatly surprised.

Just a flat out honor to watch the Man roll a cigar, let along to have him hand you the cigar he just rolled. AHHH the fine art of the CIGAR. Its so much more than just smoking,, so so much more.

Not to be rude, but Don Pepin started out being a roller and now is a master roller as well as a master of blending tobaccos. I would assume you know the many cigar brands that he has owned and been affiliated with over the years. I am sure the lack of speed was due to the party like atmosphere, cause he is in fact a master roller.

he is def a master blender, now I agree with you at events id rather see a real master roller, but if you had a cigar that was blended and rolled especialy for you by don pepin, i wouldnt care if it was his first time and he was an epileptic with one arm, hes a legend, and i think this is what the video imposes on you.

I know he CAN, but he actually ISN'T rolling a cigar, he's just putting the wrapper/cap on a previously rolled binder/filler (in the white paper). Whilst I appreciate this is an 'event', he's also clearly not a 'master' roller because that implies ability, knowledge AND speed. I'd say an exhibition roller for the easily pleased. At these kinds of events I prefer to see a REAL roller brought from the factory who just ROLLS and ROLLS. Personal preference, I suppose.
