The Childhood Agricultural Safety Network (CASN) produced this thirty second commercial as part of an overall campaign around agriculture safety. The campaign, titled "It's easier to bury a tradition than a child" is designed to keep kids away from tractors on a farm.
Tractors are responsible for 41% of all the accidental farm deaths of children under 15, yet 4 out of 5 farm children regularly ride tractors with family members. While riding the tractor may be a family tradition, it's easier to bury a tradition than it is a child.
The Childhood Agricultural Safety Network's main goal is to raise awareness about issues in childhood agricultural safety to change behaviors that put children at risk on the farm. Members work together to produce marketing messages for the general public.
