The Creations were a Chicago vocal group made up of Gerald Dickerson, Charles Boyd, Eugene Amos, and Michael Wiggins. Mel Collins (Middlebrook) heard these guys and took them into Paul Serranos Studios and did 3 records on Globe. This is the first of the three, and Pookie's favorite. Both sides are terrific. Though credited to Dickerson and Middlebrook, this song, according to Gerald was really written by "Mr. Shy", Billy McGregor. The Creations made a few more sides, though mostly with the voices of the Brothers Of Soul, on Zodiac. The group fell apart in 1968, and Boyd and Dickerson continued on as the Contributors Of Soul. Hope you enjoy on of Pookie's faves.
This also is the same song with one or two word changes by the Classics 'One Dance' Yan-G The flip of 'So Glad That I Found You'. Only The Classics is a good 2k these days.
