No, the dog is NOT overweight. Newfoundlands are huge dogs with lots of thick hair. My parents have owned 5 Newfies, and their best friends are Newfie breeders so I know what I'm talking about..

@kkfemale he's a newfoundlander they're one of the largest breeds you can get, one of these fellas even being a wee bit overweight might make em appear far fatter to someone who hasnt seen em often. the visual is a bit off on this but he seems pretty good.

@occupier123 We had a siberian husky that while not nearly this big looked huge with all that fur. We'd shave her in the summer to help her stay cooler. She was just a skinny little lady under all that fine dress. Lol. I imagine your dog is still rather large but it's always funny just how small they are when they have all the fur shaved down.

Interesting, although a number of etymology sites don't agree w/that origin. I found more that agreed w/"Faggot Gatherer ", instead. Unfortunately, I'm too old, & came up in a time when such language was commonplace. I is what I be... Besides, it really IS poor parenting.

@neomuttley Prior to burning the 'witch' they often would burn homosexuals, as a sort of 'warm-up' act (no pun intended). In time, homosexual and faggot became synonomous. Thinking of this turns my stomach. Please never use the word 'fag' - it dehumanizes you.

I'll assume you are not a bonafide 'hater' and attempt to educate you on the origins of use of 'fag' with regard to homosexuals. Long, long ago when our predecessors burned 'witches'; they would start there fires using kindling just as we do today. In those times, the smaller pieces of kindling were called faggots.
