Micro pattern technology has been around for years.. The theory behind it is less fluid / air drag. It is used on the insides of hydro lines on performance aircraft. where the fluid restriction is reduced by 1/3 or better than a smooth line. Amazing to apply this to fly line...I'v Gotta try it.

From the tests that SA has done on the line, it wears the guides less than any other line on the market which makes sense since there is less surface area touching the guide.
