@leeky1988 yeah.. also like just rock it from side to side if u get in deep.. i have 2 four wheelers, both 2 wheel drive and they do pretty good in water, iv had the water up to the seat but you could get a snorkel for it that way you can get the air filter sealed and have the water up over the handelbars

@mcdaniele11 oh right i just thought with no drive from the front wheel's to pull the front end up it would drown lol but yh i get keep leaning back would kinda do it with pull power, anyway nice vid thanks for reply :)

@leeky1988 i have a 2010 trail boss, if u hit the water hard enough,, you dont have to worry bout it bcuz i slide/skim right over the top of the water like a boat when i floor it into a pond

sounds stupid but where is the air filter on quads because like jeeps when they go in water they put the airfilter on the windscreen pillar but on quads you cant raise them any higher than the seat but often the seat is also underwater.
just asking because if water goes in air filter obviously cuts them out. thanks

um bro it dont have any.......well unless you count F-R-N it has a belt that as you go faster is expands thus giving you a higher gear ratio

what is the top speed of the trailboss?

i was riding next to a sportsman at top speed and it was about 53mph. it also is jetted and has a k&n filter

check out my recon video. theres 2 ways of getting across water. going in it or on top of it. i will try that but it would be hard to keep balance

hey there. I am looking to buy a 2003 trail boss is what looks to be in pretty good condition. They want $1800 for it. Is that a reasonable price and is this a good 4 wheeler?? Thank You.
