Cinavia PS3 Bypass / workarounds / fixes

Might work for some people, might not for others, It just depends on what firmware you are running. Also note, the newer, newer movies will have better encryption in the audio stream for cinavia to detect. So do not be surprised if old movies work and newer ones don't from the cinavia Wikipedia list of movies with encryption!!


Have tested the latest version of the WDTV Live Hub and it works flawlessly with any bluray rip, inclusing M2TS and MP4 from piratebay, demonoid, and PixelHD (Rare VIP access only) where the PS3 Team exist.

My fix was burning to disk and playing on my HD-DVD player.

i think that the best way to bypass is to just when the message comes up pause it and just turn the ps3 off and wait 5-10 minutes then start the ps3 again and watch the movie because it will start from where you finished and the message code wont pop up for 15-30 minutes then just repeat and turn off wait 5-10 minutes and then u can watch the whole movie.

Convert video with any video convert and change the title. Done! The protection will no longer work then enjoy.
