The U.S. campaign against corporate greed that's faced a nationwide police crackdown. One group in the country that knows better than most what it's like to be knee-deep in debt are students - many of whom are discovering that a costly degree is no guarantee of future employment. RT's Marina Portnaya caught up with one of them.

  • @TheAntiFascist2010 Very true...... Ron Paul is the best man for the job but this country doesn't really want the best man, they want the best liar.

  • @Subvert1024 Hard work, determination and frugality is still the only way to be regardless of the economy or your personal situation.

  • why isnt their an interest free student government loan out of taxmoneys like in germany ? ...yawn....

USA = Uncivilized States of America

  • @areyouready22 so true, my kids going to be a lawyer, doctor etc blah blah why not my kids just going to be who he or she is .lol

  • @areyouready22 I guess you are right these kids get picked on in school ,but they just hate the spoiled ones and kinda dont care. I guess im just lucky to know them, hope more kids follow theyre example.

  • @76elfin Yes it does start early. In fact, misinformation and wrong thinking starts even earlier than that. It starts when mom and dad brings baby home from the hospital.

  • @76elfin Well it's good to be optimistic but it's more important to be realistic. The truth is that the good kids you mention are very few and far between. The majority of young people have an entitlement mentality and need constant praise and reward just to feel content. Our government is the worst offender in promoting and spreading this virus. At the risk of sounding pessimistic, nothing is going to improve until there is chaos and then we will be forced to improve.

  • @areyouready22 i saw this too.but there is some hope there are a new bunch of kids who are different and they dont get everything they want because theyre parents dont have the money to spoil them and there a good bunch of kids.the world is changing . but afraid there will always be some way or another spoiled brats.lol

  • @TheAntiFascist2010 amen to that!

  • @areyouready22 i agree but I think the problem starts in grade school and they are constantly told that they will be nothing unless they carry a 4.0 grade average and thats why teens are so depressed they dont know what to do who to believe and there are no jobs . college and school isnt for everyone.

  • @OneSmartKitty you got that right common sense goes a long way lol

  • @DforDIckhead2100 i think part of the problem is there are too many collages.and too many students cheating and not enough jobs for what they are trying to achieve. that there really is such a thing they call collage scam. better off not going to college and working anywhere else.
