Ladybug Sex- shake his booty!

A no-dot orange male ladybug is doing it to another female ladybug. Look how he shakes his little ass. It's hilarious! Winter in Germany is pretty cold. So the ladybugs usually hide in people's houses. I caught a few in my house and started feeding them with home-made dry apple sauce and built them a small city. The video was taken on Nov. 9, 2008

Spring has arrived. 7 are still alive. Unfortunately, the no-dot orange male has passed on. I released 5 yesterday, but 2 refused to leave. I'll try to release them again today. Goodbye my little ones, start the next generation!

Yes, 90% are still alive. I'd tried adding plants before, but they got molded easily and not healthy for them.

they sell mini pots at like walmart that are about a dollar for 5 and you can add a small plant and just water it ... its good because it has no holes on the bottom so its not messy ........... i have 1 in there for my ladybug and he sleeps on it poops on it and eats off of it :) good to know that theyre still alive

Thanks for the tip. Unfortunately there's no walmart in Germany. I'll see what I can come up with.
