  • Is there anything that isn't on YouTube?.... my father had a copy of this (on 78) and played it when I was a small child - not sure how he (an Englishman) latched onto it....

Anyway, it brings back happy memories -Thanks for posting!

  • Thank you very much - I'm so glad to find this again after many years. I remember my parents playing this 78!

  • Me too! Another recording I loved listening to on my parents' 78 records. How fun!

  • I think I wore the record out as a child!

  • This was one of my mothers favorites. She passed away about 3 weeks ago and even as she slowly made her way back to her maker this little tune would raise a smile. How we miss that smiling face. God bless that man.

  • haha Epic song

  • what a classic tune...one of my RAF father's all time favourites !

  • To Creosote Chris - it was popular over here in the UK too - one of my mum's favourites! (and mine)

  • Ive been looking for this for 26 years :) Thanks

  • Love it!!! This brings back memories of my brother who died in 1983, because he played it over & over!! He also loved the Phil Harris records (78s), such as 'Darktoen Poker Club' & 'Woodman spare that tree' etc. They don't make 'em like this anymore! More's the pity!!
