Recorded on July, 2008. Breathtaking views of the Misty Fyords in southeast Alaska aboard a floatplane.
We flew to remote areas seldom seen by visitors. We climbed aboard the celebrated DeHavilland Beaver, preferred seaplane of Alaska bush pilots. Misty Fjords National Monument is a 2.3 million acres of natural, untouched landscape. Glaciers once moved through the area, carving granite cliffs and peaceful lakes. Awe-inspiring views are seen as we soar over one of Mother Nature's masterpieces. The pilot choose a spot to land the plane for up-close views of pristine wilderness vistas and abundant wildlife.
