Fire realized in LSU (Baton Rouge, LA). 1940 sq.ft. 800 gal of Diesel. Pre-burn Time: 1 minute. 2 Hose lines (1 3/4 inches). Extinguished with the One Seven Class B Foam (0.5% proportioning rate) from a Gimaex Rear Mount Pumper.
This is "CAFS" (Compressed Air Foam System). "One Seven" is a Product Name for the Gimaex Company in Germany. Due to the language difference between English and German, "One Seven" was the German name equivalent derived from Darley Company's seven bubble theory. SEVEN CAFS bubbles are able to be made from ONE droplet of foam/water solution when compressed air is injected into the stream. Awesome Technology!
