During a transfer from Johannesburg to Elandsdoorn-township our tourbus gets stranded at a gasstation
the burning bus blocks the mainentrance and slowly we evacuate from the direct danger towards the fuelpumps.
In 15 minutes we find a backescape, behind the house of the shop owner, most of the 30 passengers wait behind concrete walls.
gas-station was modernbuild and said to be save under these conditions.
No details about the black chicken available...
police arrives in 10 minutes, firedepartment in 50

no injuries but some light bruises

Can I ask why you Dutch tourists don't just rent a car? The bus safety record in South Africa is appalling. Watching your bus go up in flames should tell you something, lol

hehe, yes, we're a traveling theatre-group, this vehicle supposed to be our tourbus, after this incident we chose mini-vans to move on, a lot could have gone wrong during this incident, 'luckily' only one person got hit by an exploding tire, but she was on stage afterhand, slightly bruised though,
