Rubix short Ghosted. Had to alter from the original version which was Rubix Stilled, but a copyright issue stopped the viewing of that, it worked and was nice. But oh well... now had to deal with this. Cut a bit, and attempted to make it somewhat of a scored project. Adding music to give a sense of atmosphere and emotion evoked by the sounds and noises of Trent's/NIN Ghosts music. The music is odd and troublesome, and fit the short perfectly, in a sense. Its also a bit of a Best Of from that CD. Using a plethora of the songs displayed through the disc.

Although fun, it seems it might have been misunderstood. It was tough to shoot and film with a hell of a short week and a close deadline. No rehearsals or set ups, and would direct off the cuff. BIG LESSON. Whilte working on another project now understand the amazing gift of time and rehearsing even if just getting the key moments under wraps.

Included as the soundtrack is Nine Inch Nails: Ghosts 1,6, 5, 9, 11, 22, 15, 28.

Still a little raw about inital being removed but this was the original postings:

Rubix Stilled was to include:
MUSIC: Persistance of Loss, Gone Still, Adrift and at Peace.

Which also serves as an alternate longer title.

All greatness goes to my Brother Tim. You rocked it man. At first I was too tired to direct and such. And just going with this character I thought up, but you took it to right where I was thinking, you gave it the Ralph Fiennes from Cronenberg's "Spider." Exactly what I was thinking and was a bit of inspiration for this. I didn't know how you were playing it, just as the crew was off when Jeff Bridges had everyone stumped on Carpenter's Starman. Truly you killed it, kept the energy. You are the Vincent Price to my very poor attempt to be Roger Corman.

An alternate take on a bad short film I made. Love hate relationship with it, oh well. I had an odd thought and taking a few folks advice, I envisioned another take on it. Thus I took the George Lucas Special Edition Star Wars route to make it better and I didn't want to wait decades to fix. Actually probably more in the style of Dario Argento taking Dawn of the Dead and adding new music to give a more serious spin on Romero's classic. No Goblin here, although another thought would be Tangerine Dream. I went with one of my all time favorites NIN/Trent Reznor. Just tinkering around with thoughts as I plan, map out and decipher this music video for Maxwell's Pretty Wings. Already scripted, local planned yet not locked, just about casted, storyboarded a bit.

I omitted from the credits those that inspired me, but I felt it was so bad, HYPE nor X needed to have name discarded upon my quick gust of an attempt.
