Nicole Morin was 8 years old when she went missing from her residence at 627 The West Mall, Toronto, Ontario Canada, on Tuesday July 30, 1985.
Her friend had called on her at the entrance to her apartment building to come down to swim in the apartment complex pool. She never arrived to meet her friend to go swimming, and has not been seen since. She was last seen wearing her red bathing suit by her mother.

This girl's face is embedded in my head... my heart stops at the sight of her or her name.

Did they use police dogs in the search?I also wonder about that photo and whether they ever looked into it.If things had not of been left so long before a report was made it might have made a world of difference, and she could be home with her friends and family.Very very sad.

Were you the one there? Did the cops even ask you questions?
They should have blocked all entrance's and exits in that building THAT DAY...I bet they would have found her.
Stupid cops just let things slide on important crimes such as this abduction. The majority of cops need to be educated!!
Bless her soul. where ever she may be.

I've wondered about that too. I've seen that picture as well and if the police would look into it, they just might be able to solve the case. I feel sorry for Nicole's mother, having died without finding out what happened to her daughter. I never knew that Casey Bohun's image had been found as well.

I don't know why no one mentions the fact that Nicole's image was found and identified with 100% accuracy on a pedophile network in the Netherlands. It is on the droit fondamentale website from Europe. They have also found the image of 3-year old Canadian Casey Rose Bohun from Delta BC. Doesn't anyone in Canada talk about this? It doesn't mean they are in Europe but that someone videotaped the abuse and it made its way to this despicable network used by pedophiles.

I'm sorry that happened to your friend. I wonder why when the little girl called upstairs 15 min. later to tell the mother that Nicole never showed up that the mother didn't go look, or even just tell Nicoles friend "Look if she doesn't show up in 10 min. call back up here" or something like that. That just bothers me a little bit. Anyhow, I hope she shows up one day!

Nicole Morin was my best friend at the time she was taken. Her disappearance still haunts me to this day. Police perhaps didn't search for kids then in the same way that they do now. I think too much emphasis was placed on a stranger abduction...it isn't always a stranger.

This is a very sad story and I pray for her. I lived down the street from her. We were all terrified after this for quite a while. By the way, the girl in the reenactment is way older than an eight year old. Why didn't you use someone more her age who looked like her? Just a thought.

I hope she is still alive. And to the person who took her. I know you watch Youtube. I wonder how would you like it if someone stole your child?. How would you feel?. You have a conscience or any decent nerve in your body you would call 416-222-tips and at least do the right thing.

Scent seeking dogs shoud have been used. THey would have sniffed her out if she was still in the building, or at least give a sign if she was still there or had left.
