Untethered iPod Touch 2nd Generation Jailbreak WinXP

Please read first.
This is the Untethered JailBreak for iPod 2nd Generation using QuickFreedom v 1.1.0 for Win XP
If you are using Windows Vista or Win 7. You need to put LibUSB in Compatibility Mode before starting it. If you do not, you may ruin your Vista or you USB ports until its fixed. Also there is a glitch in the program when Creating the Custom Firmware, it will show 1% the entire time, but the Green status bar works.

How To Put Ipod Touch In DFU Mode:
1) Hold the home and power button for 10 seconds
2) After 10 seconds let go of the power button and continue
holding the home button for 8 more seconds!

Just Run Quick Freedom!
You must have LibUSB installed, it will give you the option to install it.

Where do i find 2.2.1 stuff if i click download it gets em onto a winrar evaluation copy and it dont do anything apart form that everything else is fine!

It shouldn't be opened or do anything with winrar. It should be a single file with an ipsw.

Are you sure you are downloading the correct ipod touch file. Watch around 0:35 and you will download it from there.

Hi i have some trouble putting my ipod touch into DFU mode. is there anything else to it the just buttons? maybe plugged in to the PC or not?

Well if you weren't able to hear, You should have plugged your ipod around 0:57.

And to put it into DFU mode.

How To Put Ipod Touch In DFU Mode:

1) Hold the home and power button for 10 seconds

2) After 10 seconds let go of the power button and continue

holding the home button for 8 more seconds!

Around 3:00 is where I put mine in DFU Mode.
