  • 4" suspension, 2" body, 2" because of the larger tires. Since body lifts don't give you ground clearance improvement, it's about 6" better ground clearance than stock.

  • how much did this cost and can you give me a list of every aftermarket thing on there

  • @MrINVADER727

Visit offroadtb-dot-com, go to the forums, and find the "BUILD THREAD" section. Look up the vehicles "Teebes" and "The Roadie" and there will be all you need, except prices. If you have to ask how much, you can't afford it. I think each of us has about $5000 into our mods so far. It never ends.......

  • lol again with that left brake light now im convinced theres something going on there xD i wanted to ask can u get the V8 without the 3rd row seats or does it always come with it and also im guessing the oldsmobile bravada is the exact same setup only different badge?

  • In later years (2005? and up) you can get short wheelbase with V8. It also has a larger rear differential, which is a benefit. The Bravada and Buick Rainier are built on the same basic platform (GMT360) but are AWD instead of true 4WD with a low range transfer case. WIthout low range in a selectable transfer case your offroading would be limited.

  • BDS makes the lift kits. You also need wheel spacers to fit larger tires. We discuss them in the offroad forum of trailvoy com

  • Yeah but, then I'd have to tow it to the desert, because I'm not willing to put up with no AC, and a noisy-ass and uncomfortable ride at 50 MPH to get to the trails. In SUVs, we've got leather seats, XM radio we can listen to comfortably, and it's a compromise we can live with. We're not stupid, and of course for certain things the Jeep is better. But if you can only have one vehicle to drive daily, tow 6000 pounds in comfort, and have a bit of security for the contents, the Jeep is not optimum.
