Yet another Fender Custom Shop Stratocaster has graced our presence. This Classic 60s Relic Stratocaster is features an aged vintage style humbucker in the bridge position that can be split into a true single coil via the Fender S-1 tone circuit. The 2 piece ash body is finished in a thin skin nitro lacquer in 2 tone sunburst. The relic treatment has armwear, belt buckle wear, and plenty of dings and nicks. • @Aussie602 Limited edition back in 2010 I`m afraid.. keep checking on ebay.

  • still not on stock ?

  • hi! the body is alder?

  • this is a super guitar!

  • @TheMusicFarm

I believe those humbuckers were SD SH4 models aged. At least thats what the black heavy relic HSS '62 had mounted.

  • How is the sustain in that guitar? To my ears it sound kinda short, but maby im wrong..

  • Man you're out of tune in the beginning. I had this guitar,I wished they'd have used vintage tuners. It had a real nice neck, beefy. The pickups are pretty unbalanced, the JB is super loud and honky and the 69s are very low and scooped. It's crazy and if you set your amp for one pickup, doesn't sound as good for the others.

I sold it, This was trying to be a swiss army knife guitar. Fender used 250K pots for volume and tone controls and loaded that JB down so it was under a blanket.

  • @SebastianMehenka Hell ya, thats the only baby i need.

  • why don't just buy a guitar with the exact same specs except the aging, wich also makes the guitar much more expensive, and age it yourself.... it's not personal if someone at the factory just aged it for you ^^

  • HOLY SHIT! RORY GALLAGHER SOUND!!!!
