Apparently, a waste of money.

GEE! What do you think international intelligence and security agencies are for?
-
Though, I agree with a lot about what Olbermann said about the Republicans.
-
Oh yes. "Unready for an unanticipated attack." Gee, how could one be ready for an attack they didn't even know was coming?

Thank God for Keith O! He speaks the truth and challenges the propagandists and self-serving hypocrites like Rudy G. It is remarkable that his voice is still heard on corporate-controlled media. Someday I hope I'll get a chance to vote for HIM.

i love keith he is such a great speaker. i just disagree with him on two points. 1. 9/11 is not rudy's fault. 2. the democrats did not cave in they had no choice. if they voted against the bill they would have been painted as witholding supplies to the troops.

the dems would be "painted as withholding supplies to the troops" if they voted against the bill... so are you saying that is WHY they had NO choice? i think they still have a choice to vote the majority voice of their constituents and know that however they are being 'painted' has no bearing on their vote, if it does, they should not represent us.

if they voted against the bill and the troops did not get the funding they need, the right wing media would have been all over them saying. "oh the dems withheld life saving equipment from the troops, thats why you should not vote democrat" and the republican party will have more ammo to trash them with.

so do we not have our troops stocked up with whatever they need, (ammo, food, parts etc) that if we don't pass HUNDREDS of billions of dollars, they will not be able to shoot their weapons and eat. will their lives REALLY change for the worse? is there not enough money in the pipeline? or does most of the money go into the military industrial complex's pocket?
