Timebomb - The Freeze

Another early demo circa 1977, around about this time we would start making regular apperances at the crosskeys. And i remember years later long after our early numbers had left the set going back to the crosskeys for someones? party and digging out all these early songs. Was it Colin's or Peter's party? Oh I remembered an incident on the M8 when Willie fell asleep at the wheel, me and Pete were in the front of the van with him, anyway we all ended up at Broxburn cop shop...what a laugh ! It was the 2 gigs in a day..Kircaldy then QMU glasgow
It would be GREAT if, somehow we could all get together and have a banter...over the past couple of weeks (thanks to you) a lot of memories have come flooding back.

On one occasion the police had passed us in an unmarked van, and when we got to the roundabot there was a police car at every exit (obviously had nothing better to do) and some idiot swerved across our path (been watching to much starsky and hutch)

Classic line from the copper was "whose vans this then", i think we all hid our disbelief and pointed at the side of the van where it said Mitchells Self drive

Thinking about Willie, Frequently he would use the bumps in the middle of the road to keep him awake on the way back from a gig!

Hi Mate,It was a joint party for me and Big Pete...it wasn't in the crosskeys it was in Hi Spots...which reminds me that someone, can't remember who, took lots of pictures that night,and i've not seen them since. I'll have to investigate that one.
