This is my 2008 Scion xB. It took me a while before I finally got the video, but here it is. The modifications are listed below, in the tags area. This car is only just begun. The TRD shocks, struts, and springs are now installed, and the video is up. Hotchkis sway bars and the TRD strut brace will be following shortly after. Videos will go up as the car goes along. Thanks for watching!

I use Valvoline 0W-20 full synthetic oil with a bottle of synthetic Lucas Oil Stabalizer and a K&N oil filter every time I change my oil at 3,000 miles. This car is very well taken care of and I encourage you all to do the same. Not use the same oil, just take care of your vehicle. It's a huge investment.

*FUTURE MODIFICATIONS*!!!!! Hotchkis sport sway bar kit, TRD strut tower brace, Injen Technology CAI, TRD Quick Shifter, and possibly a carbon fiber engine cover. Stay tuned for more future upgrades!!!

  • Did you get the one from the factory with faulty piston rings mod and recalled coil pack mod?

  • @NowLifeStarts I honestly don't know what you're talking about. My car runs fine

  • @ImportLegends16 I have a 2009 XB luckily built after all the problems were fixed. I spent a lot of time digging for the info that scion will not give out. They tried to charge me to join a site to find out if they fucked up my car. All 08's and some 09's have fucked up rings that will burn though oil like mad eventually. Scion says if it burns less than a quart in 1200 miles that is acceptable. If you are using any oil and have less than 60k miles go to the dealer and bitch.

  • @NowLifeStarts Oh ok I get what you're saying. I have heard of those recalls, but I have had no trouble whatsoever. I run synthetic and I don't burn a drop of oil. Great great car. If it does give me trouble, I'll do an engine swap or just rebuild the current engine.

  • You change full synthetic oil at 3,000 miles? Thats kinda a waste don't you think?

I use Mobil 1 5w-20 in my 2011 XB, and I change it every 10,000-12,000. Synthetic is rated to last up to 15,000 miles.

  • @tonystewartchamp Yes I do. I know people that change it every 2,000 miles on synthetic. It's more for precautions. I change my oil myself so I can do it pretty cheap, plus I enjoy doing it.

  • @ImportLegends16 TSB for faulty piston rings and a recall for coil packs. Go to dealer and they will replace all coils for free until 2014.

  • @tonystewartchamp eBay lol. They're Cold Cathode Flourescent Lights Halos instead of LED

  • where did you get the Halo Headlights from? Those are pretty cool.

  • @brendonts I do like the style of the 2011 though, but you're right. not much out there for it. But just give it time, things will start showing up
