@Meyons1424 each point in the picture is a complex number, let's call one of them "c". What you do is: you sqare c, than add c. then you sqare all this again, you add c, you square this again, you add c.... the rules for squares etc with complex numbers are difficult. but if you keep doing this, say 200 times, you will see how this sequence develops. if it grows very quickly, the point belonging to "c" gets another colour than if it would grow slowly. you do that for every point in the picture.
