  • B2's is a C3's

    G#5 is A5

    A5 is G5

  • @calvin999999999 Haha, First B2 = C3

    Second B2 = B2

    A5 = A5

How regaling. Believe what you must =)

  • @gordon051291

But they aren't, several people have said so.

  • @calvin999999999 Haha, and who are these several people? Do you just follow blindly and fall like a domino? It seems you also lead a deterministic life of cause and effect. Believe what you must. =)

  • Why is Beyoncé being brought up

It's a Alicia Keys video and if you ask me they are tied when it comes to singing

  • Beyonce is being brought up because they collaborate in "Put it in a love song"

  • secondly, alicia keys is such a wonderful, UNIQUE singer. her huskiness and her ACTUAL songwriting talent which makes her AWESOME!!! she does not lie or claim ownership for something she did didnt do. she's ORIGINAL!!! not like some fake bitch whos traded sisterhood/friendship for fame. :)

  • i think alicia and kelly rowland can be on par with beyonce. if not, BETTER!!! :D

  • @ThePianoguy89 OMG i know right!? Christina's vocal technique is atrocious shes always screamin, thats why here voice is declining and she can no longer reach the heights she used to but whats annoying is that she tries to make up for that with all these unecessary runs that add nothing to her performance smh she needs vocal training and in a hurry!lol

  • @dafuture93 I do understand that. I noticed how she become full blown deep contralto later on in her career. People thought she started straining noticeably after she made As I Am and her hit song No One. Her voice is beautiful and I don't want her to ruin. At least her voice is more controlled than Christina. OMG! Her voice is definitely declining!

  • @ThePianoguy89 I think it was BET Awards 2010. or it maybe 2009 but im pretty sure it was on last years awards ceremony. and yeah sometimes she can do a C5 or C#5 without much strain but on that night...smh i dont know what was up with her. lol

  • @dafuture93 BET awards, what year? Usually when she performs her version, she lowers the key to F-major instead of F# major. Sometimes she can carry C5 or C#5 well, she doesn't strain on those notes all all the time. She can belt better from A4 to D5. The sustained D5 that she did in Fallin performances at her Piano and I performances were not strained, they were clear and you can really hear the resonance in them since you can only hear the piano and her voice.

  • @ThePianoguy89 THANKS! im glad somebody understands where im coming from. but anyways i would even argue that even belts that arent necessarily high for her like a C5, C#5 sound strained. For example, have you seen her perform "In New York" with Jay-Z (on BET awards)? other places? the "in New York, concrete jungle where dreams are MAADDEE of" note is a C5 or C#5 I think and she sounded like it was hard for her 2 hit, it was very strained smh here first 2 albums were her best!

  • @dafuture93 I agree with everything you said! You really hit the nail on the coffin! I was trying to get other people to understand that when she was younger, her voice was lighter and had much more brightness to it. Since her voice got darker after 2005/6, it's harder for her to belt notes higher than Eb5.

  • smh. Alicia has lost so much of the youthfulness, fullness and brightness to her voice. She can no longer belt those really big notes that she used to (think pre-2005/2006) w/o much strain and hoarseness. she needs 2 work on her vocals and learn how to sing w/o strain because thats whats really her notes sound strained and whats clouding up her beautiful voice.

  • This is a great album! Love it!

  • Alicia Keys is such a treasure and for all the haters, she is vocally gifted!
