Because non-childstars with the same problem(such as anorexia) have issues in their childhood.What childstars and non-childstars with the same problem have in common are lack of control/issues in their lives.
With Lena Zavaroni,she was living with a stranger from the age of 10 and thats not normal.
You do notice that a lot of childstars developed problems.

Exactly, 1cut1. I have previous experience of caring for young people with eating disorders. Most were from very ordinary families with very caring and in some cases over protective parents and I mean from when the kids were tiny long before the problem started. Girls especially are very susceptable to body image, looking slim etc. One young girl lost her life through trying to look good for some boy!

If the child stardom was the cause of her problems, why are there non child stars with the same problems. (This question is not meant as a critisism against anyone).

Its the child stardom that was the cause of her troubles,I believe but seeing her potential she would have been a great singer if she herself chose to be a public singer at the age of 18.

This is supposed to be funny! Lena caricaturises what is hilarious about the woman in the song, her physical expression is comic genius.

I just watched a few other versions of this song including one with Bing Crosby & Al Jolson and she surpasses them all! I didn't know about her until just a few days ago.. I'm completely amazed by her talent and I hope more people discover this wonderful angel! Thank you for helping to keep her spirit alive with these great video clips!....
