UFO HUnters Parviz Jafari case 2.2

Mehrabad Airport, 19 September 1976 approximately about 11PM received calls regarding a huge object hovering on over northern Tehran.

Main 'Dogfight ' Witnesses

Witness 1: Hussein Perouzi - the alarming rate of calls prompt him to try and observe the object to confirm without doubt before calling in the air force. That he did about 12:30AM

"...It was rectangular in shape, probably seven to eight meters long and about two meters wide... it was probably cylindrical. The two ends were pulsating with a whitish blue color. Around the mid-section of the cylinder there was this small red light that kept going around in a circle..."

Witness 2: General Nader Yousefi - ordered a swift security check with a two crew F-4 Phantom about 1:30AM. As he could spot it about 75 kilometers north of Tehran from being so brilliant.

"a big star among the other stars... it was at least twice as large as the normal stars."

Witness 3 and 4: Lieutenant Yaddi Nazeri (pilot) and radar operator - the pilot of the first scramble. As he nears the 46 kilometer range, all the avionics and communications were shut off mid flight prompting them to turn back as soon as they did all power returned normal.

"object whatever it was, was from another planet, its technology far beyond that of any earthly government."

Witness 3: Major Parviz Jafari - single F-4 pilot resumed the mission objective of the first within 10 mins. At 46 kilometres the object matched the F-4s speed forcing the jet to keep its distance, soon a smaller object orb came streaking towards him at a speed exceeding mach 3 and he was on a supersonic speed himself, which didn't give him enough reaction but to dive and escape while it was revolving around the F-4 as he saw the object from behind returned. No sooner another orb object dropped from the main object and was speeding towards him but as he tried to retaliate with an AIM-9 sidewinder believing he was under attack just like Nazeri before got a total loss of instrumentation, weapons control and communications.

"The size on the radar scope was comparable to that of a 707 tanker"

Several incidents occured within this incident:

A brightly lit smaller object followed the F-4 of Jafari and believe to have crash landed or hovered illuminating then a dry lake bed.

Another UFO was observed with object was cylindrical in shape with a steady light at each end and a flashing light in the center, by the F-4 crews upon final approach to Mehrabad

The F-4s experienced interference and communications failure while landing at Mehrabad.

A commercial airliner experienced interference and communications failure while landing at Mehrabad.

Mehrabad personnel also saw the tubular/cylindrical object, the tower experiencing power and equipment failure as it over flew the airport.
