Magnum P.I. This is the final sequence from the episode titled 'Going Home'. It has music by Joe Cocker, 'I will be released'. It's a very moving ending to Magnum. Tom Selleck portrays emotion very well in this scene.

@vccstudents I dunno, I think there was a drop from season 1 to 2, but still great of course ("Woman on the Beach" was genuinely scary). I haven't seen season 3 yet, as apparently it's almost impossible to get on DVD in the UK. I think the tone changed from the earlier to the later episodes, as they had more "in-universe" characters and storylines they could pick up, but it was still great, just in a slightly different way.

@jimbopumbapigsticks Those were probably two of the best from that season along with "Infinity and Jelly Doughnuts." Season 6 had good episodes, but the earlier seasons, especially 1-3 were better. At least we agree, it was a GREAT show!

@vccstudents I disagree. Season 8 had some great episodes, like "Tigers Fan" and "Unfinished Business". And they couldn't have left Magnum for dead. For me, the best one was Season 6.

@StukInBuf He was burning the candle at both ends. Selleck admitted he wasn't tired of doing the show, but he was tired FROM doing the show and felt he couldn't start a family and do that show. I remember he originally wanted to end it after the season 7 finale, but fans were outraged at him being left for dead.
