You should try it on a steel string...isn't it very hard to get a sound out of those nylon strings? I have a classical guitar and it's dead hard to tap on it. (another fellow touchstyle player here)

I'm sure if Bach saw you sit down holding your guitar like that and you said you were going to play his prelude, he would say"Son, you can't play it holding the instrument like that" . But you just did ,didn't you? LOL That's what an old timer told Jeff Healey when Jeff asked him to show him some chords.
