  • BAD! BAD! BAD!

carbon quotients is just what the tyrannical governments want.

imagine a cq on every produced item in the world...where does the money go, and who profits.

While im at it , global warming is a sham. The earth's atmosphere is not what we should worry about, our oceans are polluted, the very lifelife of our planet, why dont we put a quotient on all the righ greedy oil companies that are causing mass extinction of the creatures in the sea!!!

    Look it up people!!!

  • I love it. It would totally effect how I use my purchasing power!! Having this knowledge at my fingertips would be awesome. In response to the below comment, one of the main reasons that our country has gotten fatter is that it is not calories and fat intake alone that effects metabolism. People are getting fatter because they are eating processed foods with little TRUE NUTRIENTS and not MOVING enough. The point of the vid was that people make choices based on information, and this is true.

  • We used that analogy because a calorie label is the closest to our idea. However, CQ goes a lot further than simple dietary intake, at a time when people are thirsting (no pun intended) to figure out a way to make daily small changes. CQ accomplishes this.

  • Interesting idea, but your analogy is off-base. You base your idea on the fact that people started eating fat-free chips and drinking diet soda after nutrition labels were added to food products. And that accomplished NOTHING, considering that Americans have gotten increasingly fatter since those nutrition labels have been included.

So what makes you think that carbon labels change anyone's habits, too?

  • Great idea. I can't stand when local produce is next to the same type grown in Chile or other faraway parts. Most don't know to look at that major detail, i.e. this banana traveled 4,000 to be here.

  • Great!

  • yes yes!

  • Wonderful Idea!
