US soldiers in Afghanistan have been filmed with local language Bibles and urged to be "witnesses for Jesus" despite anti-proselytising rules.

There is nothing wrong with US soldiers speaking about Jesus and Christianity with Muslims religious scholars in fact we Muslims would like them to but they are taking the advantage of the poor people who need money and medical care in other words these troop will use this influence to convert Afghans to Christianity

let me try to put the issue of prosletyzing in context to you, btech7. Imagine a Muslim nation comes and liberates america, a predominantly Christian, and introduces democracy after a dictatorship. Fair enough. Now imagine they start distributing qurans in English and preaching Islam. Wouldn't you feel as though your culture and faith are being jeopardized by a foreign power supposedly working to bring about freedom for you? How would it be any of their business to meddle in your affairs?

These people are so confused! that it is beyond belief, they say 1+1+1...does not equal three! They say it equals ONE, how blind could you be? Jesus (Peace be upon him) was a messenger of God, simple as that.
