I spent 3 years there on the military post. I absolutly loved it. We pcs'd down back to Fort Campbell, Tennessee a few months ago and I can't tell you how much of a downgrade moving back to America is. I think the thing I miss most is in the winter when Heidelberg is covered in a sheet if snow, everybody is down by Arches and we've all had enough drinks to start having fun, watching the lighting of the castle at night; and later Im down by the monkey bridge freezing my ass off kissing my girl.
