I recently used the free to use "Prism video converter" for a school project.
I think it can handle HD pretty well, but I'm not sure.
By the way, you're so cute!!! :|)

You're in luck Miko chan. I've been doing lots of video conversions for couple years and have been using a nice balance of a video player (that plays everything without impacting too much on my PC with Windows Vista or XP) and a converter program (completely for free).

(P.S. I'm a computer consultant, I hope you can put those 2 programs to good use, unless you found a solution by now. Aisu kurimu onegaishimasu ^_^
