@droctagon3k The tech was for hanging on the rim. He never touched the backboard as you can see in the replay.

the tech was for the backboard slap, not the actual hanging on the rim, you can hang on the rim for safety purposes, the refs will let that go, but it was for the slap at the end.

If he didn't hang on, he woulda broke his flippin neck!

Especially when you consider how fragile Oden is.

look where he took off from. a lot of forward momentum i dont think letting go quickly would had been safe

I know it wad a good dunk but oden has to stop hanging on the rim and getting technical fouls

sometimes you need to hang on the rim, with that momentum, if he let go early he would have fallen on his back

who cares if he hung on the rim? it's not regular season refs. that really grinds my gears.
