@Matamune87 right, the distance is the point, he's doing zenshin mae geri, after the mae geri you can use kisame, gyaku tsuki or a finishing move. If you can notice, he's doing hikiashi properly.

Great agility and nice yoko geri technique, but the mae geri technique is wrong! You should control the leg after the kick execution and not fall down on it...
