i remember one time we were comin' back home
on a long road trip all homesick
it was me, my mom, my two little brothers
grandpa and grandma under some covers
"lets order takeout and take it back home
whats another 20 minutes we've waited this long"
one thing that i couldn't get over
grandpa said "ill have leftovers"
"grandpa! it's been five days now
and theres a chance that it might taste foul
it might smell old it might get mold"
but you know him, he loves his L-O
that's L-O,
the stuff you don't throw
it's short for leftovers if you don 't know
so even as a kid
i would seal it with a lid
leave it in the fridge and he'll eat which he did

we all know that he's well talented
puts up walls shelves and cabinets

he wont buy things
hed just make it himself
all he needs is room to spare
got screws and nails and tools prepared
he does oil change s for all the cars
right in the workplace he stays in the garage
ropes and boxes extension cords
plenty things to fix means hes never bored
and in the spring people get rid of their stuff
he's that guy tryna pick it all up
so one mans trash is the next man's treasure

there he is sleeping
hows it possible that he's passed out
sitting in position

it's wide open his head goes back
check him out now he looks so relaxed so i watched the movie
but not too long i hear
"oh come on"
like he knows whats going on!
