is the insys air intake a dry intake system???
-
@bsunny7 i got a 97 chev and i dont know weither to put on the cold air intake or somehow mount a air cleaner on like on the tbi's but i dont know how well that would work with the vortecs,,,what do you think?

@bsunny7 I'm not saying that these don't filter dirt at all, just saying they are less effective in general. Thats the price for more flow. You aren't going to see the dirt that got sucked into the engine, its already gone. Most of the finer particles aren't going to be seen at all with any filter.

@KingReyes17 Its dong exactly what I want it to do and is doing excellent. I will post new video of it plus I took the fowmaster off and gutted the catalytic converters so its true dualed now and is VERY LOUD and sounds amazing in my opinion.... I'll post a new video hopeflly by the end of next week.

air filters that allow more flow also allow more dirt. Nothing is worth more dirt in the engine, except maybe for race vehicles, but they are rebuilt often so its not a big deal.

@romansten9 Actually i just took this off about a week ago to look at the inside of the filter and the inside of the intake tube and it was as clean as when i put it on there......and let me remind you that I put this on about six months ago. I live on a gravel road and get gravel dust all around the engine, the filter keeps dust out it does not suck dust in.
