Let me tell y'all this..Steve Francis was Derrick rose back then: scoring point guard with crazy athletic ability and I think he was even more athletic and had more natural skills but didn't have the work ethic to get better. Marburry had the ability to be one of the best ever at the position. His scoring, assists, and defense is better than Nash. He could do it all: score, pass, shoot. He was more of a chris Paul type that scored and was among the leaders in assists as well.

Starbury, he was simply a better point guard.. Franchise was a poin/shooting guard without a reliable jumper. Was crazy athletic and super talented, but when reality bites, franchise was a bit more flash than substance... Marbury on the other hand was so good at getting anywhere on the floor.. He made going into the paint sooo easy, I felt overall he under achieved.. Just looked like he could have done so much more than he did...

@MrDiscostu32 steve francis left china after like 2 weeks...he was just a total basketball unable. he kept falling down during dribbling, defending...demonstrated no touch, no agility, no balance, no any of his trademark physicality. some basic fitness training got him lying on the floor breathin, 17 year olds nail him in training. he had some marginal awareness, not enough for him to stay in beijing...the chinese league does not need a facilitator, u just need to be able to score at any time.
