Man, I have never heard trombone like that. I always loved kid, being on the radio alot in syracuse ny in the late 80's Leo Rayhill's programming for an hour a night . I have over 200 hours of phenomenal recordings from Leo.

If you listen to the lyrics, they don´t have much to do with the original ones for the song. This isn´t Kate´s sister singing, more like her brother or father. "Keep off Katie´s bed." What a band!

for this style, yes but this is a shimmy-shake song not a slow drag. Listen to the version from the Alabama Jug Band from 1934!
