@UncleVRoy For those without internet access we burn the videos onto a dvd player. They then put it in their tv and push play.

@Aarpmdfabs: Our school knows what we are doing and support it. In fact our principal's daughter went through our program.

For ADHD kids: They have been successful in this class. They have actually shown increased attention and test scores.

For lazy students: This is not the magic bullet to solve all of the worlds educational woes.

I am so glad that it didn't end with "I'm Aaron Sams. I am a teacher. I am a dad. And I'm Mormon."

I live in Malaysia , unfortunately not many people are familiar with the flipped learning here. Do visit my blog here faizulzuraimi(dot)blogspot(dot)com . Included is also an open letter to teachers out there

This is basically a college class, except instead of the professor putting in his effort and making videos (or explaining how to solve problems during lecture) he says "go watch khanacademy". True story. (And that wouldn't be so bad if khanacademy really had all of the topics we're covering).

You guys do really awesome work.

Hello Jon and Aaron, nice to bump into your web site and YouTube channel. I'm interested in a conversation ... For the past 3 years I have been doing my own version of a flipped math classroom, one that is online and remote. Let's talk about how I might be able to provide organized math lessons for your web site and/or become involved in some way. terryv(at)MathPowerLine(dot)com Thanks, Terry VanNoy

Christian: I am sorry this happened to you. A class is only as good as the teacher and sadly, any method can be used poorly. That doesn't negate the amazing results we are seeing as good teachers adopt this model.
