An attempt at 3 miles of the Pilgrims Way on the North Downs in South East England. Unfortunately the conditions turn too light early on and cloud sets in cutting off any thermal activity....oh well maybe next year.

  • Wicked.................................

  • @SpringHeadRC get that Sunshine sorted and come along with us next time Martin

  • The wind always gives up when you need it most thermals to ,but it's great fun when it all goes well ..

  • @spektrum33 hopefully we'll get better conditions next time, this was our second attempt...on the first we had good thermals and got just over half way, but left it too late in the day and things went flat again

  • Sooooo cool guys, I alwazs wanted to do something like that,

  • @edwinzea come over and join us then Edwin!

  • @thatsmethistime good stuff, we'll get filming next time we attempt this ridge run

  • @miniphase: oke then. I follow you guys at youtube. I am waiting for the next video about this next summer. Keep flying!

  • @thatsmethistime turned out it was one of our mates coming to see how we were getting on and not a farmer after all.....yes we will try again when the conditions are right, it may not be until next summer now though as we need good thermals rather than good slope lift in order to get over several gaps in the ridge

  • Nice! Was the farmer really angry? I hope you will fly again the 3 miles.
