The T-Mobile G2x is a steamin' hot new phone, and there's always people out there who want to know how it compares to the Apple iPhone 4. In this Schmackdown, Wirefly's Bob Kovacs compares the two phones and has a little fun doing it.

  • purchased it. I don't know if anyone else experienced these issues with their G2x's, but I just wanted to address them before people make a decision solely from this review. And no, i'm not an Apple's stanboy, just a tech fiend that appreciates quality. Just want to give you guys some more things to consider before you purchase one of these phones.

  • @ProducedByTheWinner It's possible that the G2x you have is defective. You may be able to return it and get a replacement.

Just a thought... in two weeks, have you shut the G2x off and re-booted it?

  • @spiderman510925 As I mentioned, I like the Samsung Galaxy S 4G. It has a nice display, it's an excellent size/weight, and it has a good battery. Updated to Android 2.3.6, it is smooth and stable. Better still is the Samsung Galaxy S II and the HTC Sensation, but they are bigger. In my pocket, the Galaxy S 4G works best.

  • @wirefly Thank You. I was just curious as to see who, one that messes around with phones, uses as there's. If you know what i mean. Yea i was looking through every T-mobile phone, that's my company, but all of them were just physically unpleasant to my eyes. If you don't mind me asking again, what t-mobile phone have you had really good, if not the best experience's with? I'm in need of an upgrade.

  • @spiderman510925 I get asked that often, actually. I have access to and use a lot of different phones, but the one I've adopted as my own for several months is a Samsung Galaxy S 4G. That's a T-Mobile phone, but mine is unlocked and has an AT&T SIM. I updated it to Android 2.3.6 and it works very well.

  • actually u get more than just 3 screens to put apps on... god ur such a tech noob. know the device before u falsely advertise

  • Yeaaah I hate how my iPhone can't play a lot of video bec it doesn't have that flash and I have to admit I love the size of the G2x

  • Both displays are IPS and both are made by LG

  • your "scmack down" is more like between android vs. ios not the devices.

  • Should be getting my G2X tomorrow :)

  • G2x!!

  • Has considered getting this phone :D
