BUDHY Distraction Project

The BUDHY is a new distraction tool to use during venepuncture processes. Focussing on the connection between parent and child and creating a smaller identity within the environment, the BUDHY diminishes the distress level of a child during these sometimes painful and stressed moments. In collaboration within the WKZ (child hospital) in Utrecht, this project was founded on the University of Technology in Eindhoven at the department of Industrial Design.
