Several times a day the Atlanta airport gives thanks to the troops that are protecting our freedom as they march through the terminal. It makes you proud to be from the South.

  • @MegaCharlie: Maybe 25 ppl have a different opinion. Deal with it.@frank53681,Petey ThePickle: Oh really? How about being proud of something you´ve a achived, instead of something that just happend. You aint got a shadow of a clue what´s going on. Sorry for being that frank, but you guys sound EXACTELY like the guys behind the iron curtain a few years ago. EXACTELY the same. Phrases and nothing but phrases. The funny thing is that you just dont know about it. Not at all.

  • 25 people who viewed this video have no damn respect.

  • Las Vegas Airport does the same. They do a water canon salute as the plane arrives and applaud as the troops walk through the airport. I'm proud to be from the west :)

  • @frank53681 american born and raised and damn proud of it.

  • southern born and raised and damn proud of it

  • @AnimalW5RM Thank you soldier!!

  • Many thoughts fly through our minds at that moment...we're totally exhausted from the ordeal. We think of comrades who couldn't be with us to see this. We're anxious to get to a phone to let our families know we're safely on US soil. It's a rush of emotions, good and bad, all at once...but, overall, it was one of the most incredible moments of my life. I will be forever grateful to those who gave us that moment.

  • I walked through that very place and got that same response. After spending my 2nd tour in hell (Ramadi, Iraq) 05-06. For 12 months people were trying to kill me and those that weren't didn't give a damn if I died. Getting off that plane and having ppl clap, thumbs up, hug us, offer any help we needed..was amazing and a bit overwelming. Like waking up from a nightmare and takes a few minutes to grasp that it's really over. I still choke up when I see this.
