When government violates the Constitution they nullify their own authority. The Constitution are laws WE the people gave the gvt to live by, under those laws we ALLOW them to govern. When they step outside those laws, they are no longer our gvt. They govern by CONSENT only. We the people have a right they seem to have forgotten...The RIGHT to throw off and ABOLISH government that refuses to abide by the rules we gave them and to establish NEW gvt's that WILL abide by them and guard liberty.

if you say that the Constitution (through the Govt ) gives you your rights , you therefore say that the Constitution (through the Govt) can take your rights from you (and the Gov is what can adjust the constitution any time it wants anyway) and already have.
Your rights are natural and given to you by God and Natural Law , not some Constitution (which in reality has no limiting effect on the Govt anyway).

Pia, you got my vote! You are a phenomenal woman. With November 2 soon approaching may God bless the multitudes of Americans looking for You, a candidate largely hidden from us who has the same patriotic views that so many of us ordinary Americans have and desire to see represent us. All things are possible and may the multitudes find you and vote you in! God bless you and our great nation!

You have all the right thinking and answers. You have big mountain to gleam to top but if you speak for people to find the trust and find correct answers for the people you will get support in you ideology and you can turn this dead society to the productive free and wealthy society. I love your youthfulness insistent thinking that is what we need in this GREAT USA. One more advice, be concerned of slave runners like British colonization.

I admit error.
I had thought her speech at the Wanamaker's "Tea Room" Tea Party [on the night of the snowstorm] had been delivered by a nervous neophyte.
Then, I watched the other videos of her speeches, such as that spell-binder delivered in San Diego ["The Best Tea Party Speech"].
She may be a neophyte, but she has both a cogent message and a mesmerizing delivery-method.

@cps30 This is the problem with partisan politics. When have you ever heard Pia preach "war dogma?"
It seems her critics are always trying to put her in a box and label her. "Tea Party" "Republican" "Neo-Con." Judge her on her own words.
@ Linux . . . Democracy comes from 2 Greek words meaning "People Rule." yet you say "vast numbers of people know next to nothing about almost everything."
THAT is the problem with Democracy.
That is why I prefer a Constitutional Republic with inalienable rights which no majority can vote away.
