hey, can you possibly give some advice how to play the fast runs without making mistakes? i know the notes and can play them but when i start playing the original tempo i often miss the right notes just due to the tempo..... but played slowly it sounds boring ;-)

You should ask a real pianist, I'm only an amateur but what can i advice is:

1) it helps when U know this difficult part by heart, then U don't loose any time for changing Your eyes from sheets to the keyboard

2) When I learn some new piece I play part first full (slowly) and then only this difficult line 10 times then other part 10 times... Then again full part (might be a bit faster). Next day the same. After a few days You can play full piece perfectly.

3) what's important is not 2 play this fast runs in high speed because U'll take bad habits

p.s. don't worry - no one is born being a master of sth. If u want 2 learn sth then work, work & work and everything becomes possible

Cool vid. I'm trying to learn to learn this piece myself. I'm no expert, and I know it'll probably be years before I can play it in its proper speed, but if there was one piece I'd really want to challenge myself with, this would be it.

@dartom89 thx a lot ;-) probably im too impatient :D the fast part of that version isnt really easy at all and i will just practice as much as ill need ^^
